Thoughts

Truth is unlimited, language is not. The more you try to explain truth with words, the more you deviate from it.

More Thoughts on God

This is known as the "Epicurean Paradox"

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

The God Paradox

Here is a little something to think about. If God has the power to create absolutely anything, could he ever create a stone heavy enough that even he could not lift? If you answer yes: then there is a stone that God cannot lift, hence God is not all powerful. If you answer no: then obviously there is something God cannot do, which is to create such stone.

WHAT?? Rat King???

Ever heard of a Rat King before? Just imagine one big rat... OK.... now imagine ten and they're all joined together by their tails! You guys should see this, click here.

The Earth is round! Right?

You thought everyone accepted the idea that the Earth is spherical? Think again! http://theflatearthsociety.org/cms/ Check out the forums interesting discussions. Hopefully you won't immediately dismiss this site as a joke. The members and creators have worked very hard to come up with the theories and to be fair we can't really prove anything until we see it for ourselves. Although I don't completely agree with much of what they say, I do respect them for trying to introduce ideas that go against the current norm.

Can the world be saved?

The pages of our history books are filled with tales of violent wars. It seems that the only event we can consistently predict is the senseless murder of our own people. We have adapted and evolved to become the supreme rulers of this earth. Sadly, we constantly abuse of our power. Why is it that such intelligent creatures cannot seem to find peace and balance with nature? We exploit anything that might provide us with temporary and superficial benefits regardless of the consequences. In today's turbulent economic system only the greedy and dishonest seem to thrive while humble hard working men are left behind to be manipulated by the rich. Perhaps it's time to refresh our minds and forget everything we know about how to run societies and move towards a new direction. Could the Zeitgeist Movement be exactly what we need? Visit the website and learn more about this movement here. I recommend people to download and read their guide. Even if you don't believe in their ideas, we must admit it's still pretty interesting. Download the guide here.
